Pros: close to nice restaurants, 10 minute walk to Prince street.
Nice layout with 2 big bedrooms. One bedroom with two twin beds so great for kids.
Really nice bathroom and shower. Excellent and we'll stocked kitchen. Owner very helpful and responsive.
Cons: beds ok but a little firm.
The bedrooms are in the basement so has steep stairs ( would be difficult if you have mobility issues).
Take the secure parking for the extra charge, parking in Edinburgh is a pain.
Excellent location, walking distance to city centre and places of interest. Bus stop nearby for easy visit to Royal Yacht at Leith. Quiet area, good facilities.
Good communication and easy to deal with.
Great spot for touring the city. Everything provided. Parking was NOT an issue. Looking forward to our return.
Circus Mews was easy to find, comfortable and clean. Ali was extremely helpful and friendly, she arranged to meet us at the property and was very helpful informing us about the property and the surrounding area.
The property is within walking distance of all the central attractions and is in an area where there are lots of cafes and restaurants.
We really enjoyed our visit to Circus Mews in Edinburgh, and would stay there again. The location, the living space, the thorough information provided in advance of & during the visit were all appreciated by our group. Our son even decided to take his class photo there as the street was so picturesque with blooming flowers and visiting friendly cats.
Overall, a delightful stay for us in Edinburg.
Circus Mews is the perfect place to stay in Edinburgh. The other rave reviews are totally justified. We also felt that it couldnt have been better. My son and I spent four days there very comfortably, after hiking in the Highlands. The apartment could easily handle four adults or a family of four. There are two spacious bedrooms, each with twin beds that can be pushed together to be king-sized. The location is ideal, on a picturesque street in New Town, only ten minutes from Princes Street (Waverly Station, Scott Monument, National Gallery, etc.). Lovely Stockbridge is literally around the corner, with artisanal cheese shops, green grocers, pleasant cafes and restaurants. For excellent dining nearby at reasonable prices, try The Scran and Scallie (an upscale gastro-pub) and the Kilted Lobster (great seafood) for fresh, local food. Although centrally located, the street is very quiet, and the bedrooms, facing back, are absolutely silent at night. The living area (living room, dining room, & kitchen on first floor) is also well equipped and maintained. The owners were easy to contact and conscientious. I would happily book this property again!
