In the UK we love our pets and when we go on holiday we don’t want to leave them behind or send them to a kennel so we are always on the look-out for pet friendly group accommodation. We want to take them with us to explore the majesty of the UK’s flowing countryside and beautiful towns and cities. The problem is that much of the UK’s accommodation selection isn’t pet friendly and won’t allow animals to stay with them. But here at House Parties, we have the solution for pet friendly group accommodation.
We have a fantastic selection of places which do offer wonderful pet friendly group accommodation and luxury for both owners and their beloved animals. At House Parties we have searched the UK high and low for the very best pet friendly holiday cottages and luxury group accommodation so you don’t have to trawl through unsuitable properties which won’t allow your pet to stay with you.
Whether you’re looking for a beautiful large holiday home in Scotland, a quaint holiday cottage in Yorkshire or a seaside retreat with group accommodation in Devon, we’ve got the pet friendly rental property for you. Browse the properties above to find your favourite pet friendly group accommodation or, alternatively, visit our destination pages if you’re looking for a property in a specific area.

Our pets are part of the family too, so we know the importance of being able to take them with you on your holidays, and now you can with our fantastic pet friendly cottages and holiday homes.
They say a dog is a man’s best friend so we at House Parties understand why you would want to take your best friend on holiday with you. We have a selection of houses that welcome pets at no extra charge. How about taking your beloved best friend for a beach holiday? There is nothing more a dog likes than a doggy paddle in the sea or chasing a stick in the sand.
For the dog who likes a walk in more rugged surroundings, we recommend Alexander House near Gleneagles or High Wards or Stuckgowan House at Loch Lomond. If your pet is more of a city pooch, then we even have a house in the centre of York with an enclosed garden that welcomes dogs.
Not all places welcome dogs, but here at House Parties, Dexter and I have a favourite app called “Doggie Pubs”. Just type in your location and Doggie Pubs will draw up a list of pooch-friendly pubs in the area, giving you the distance and a star rating. Simply click on each name and you will get the address and a link to the pub website.
If you are planning a day trip to a non-dog friendly establishment, Fairfield House in Weardale even has a doggy hotel. Fully heated, the dog house can sleep 4 dogs and you can leave them for a while knowing they are safe and warm.
Pets at Home – Dexter’s favourite shop – also stocks everything you need to travel with your dog, from dog carriers, safety harnesses, portable dog bowls as well as balls for the beach!

We arrived at the house and we were met by Alex the owner who made us welcome and gave us a tour of the house. Table was already set for Christmas dinner and was stunning. We were a group of 14 celebrating Christmas and we were not disappointed. The house was everything we were hoping for and had an amazing stay. Photographs of the house don't do it justice. We expected it to be big but it was massive with plenty space for everyone. Would definitely recommend booking for a special occasion and I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. We loved it that much we have booked it again to celebrate new year 2020 and can't wait. Thank…
A very large and comfortable house with a pleasant enclosed garden and within easy walking distance of the city centre. Also close to the river walk and fields for exercising your dog.
We had a great time for our Family Christmas at Stucktaymore. Lorraine and team were brilliantly helpful and we had a very comfortable stay.
Property was clean with beds and sheets especially clean and professionally prepared. The AGA was perfect for cooking lots of meals for 14 people. All interaction was very professional and Abid was fantastic and helpful. Overall a perfect venue for our family Christmas. Would rent again without question.
Spacious, attractive, well equipped house. Great to have a games room and hot tub (even over Christmas). Beds very comfy. Plenty of hot water. Lynda and Tony were extremely helpful and fast to respond to any queries. The kitchen had everything we needed to cater for 12. The house had 2 Christmas trees which was very much appreciated.
We used Drylaw House as a venue for our work Christmas meeting and everyone really enjoyed their stay. We received a lovely welcome from John. The house had everything we could possibly need and was a good location (close to Edinburgh city centre and the airport).
