Group Accommodation in Norfolk

Friends and family members, wishing to get away for a long weekend or full week in group accommodation, will really appreciate Norfolk. The county is located in the east of England, bordering on Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk.

Norfolk offers a section of the North Sea coast to the north and east and on the north-west is bordered by The Wash, an estuary and square-mouthed bay on the east coast where Norfolk meets up with Lincolnshire. This is one of the largest estuary of its kind in the UK, fed by the rivers Great Ouse, Nene, Welland and Witham.

The county town of Norfolk is the city of Norwich. A popular destination for a city break, Norwich offers several attractions including, among others, Norwich Cathedral, Norwich Castle as well as the charming cobbled streets and museums to be found in the older part of the town. The city is considered to be among the UK’s best shopping destinations, offering an excellent range of shops.

For those seeking sand and sea, Great Yarmouth is just 20 miles away from Norwich. This charming coastal town is situated at the mouth of the River Yare. The sea front boasts two piers – the Britannia Pier and Wellington Pier – and the town itself offers much of interest in the way of historical buildings.

Anyone with boating or fishing in mind will appreciate the Broads, a network of lakes and rivers covering part of Norfolk and stretching over into Suffolk. Considered to be a national park, these waterways are lock-free and attract many kinds of visitors including bird-watchers, anglers and artists.
