Why Beach End is a Prive Property
They say “No man is an Island” and it’s true, although at Beach End there are times of the day when you are almost an island! With no road access, drive along the beach and park on the elevated private ground in front of the house whilst the tide is out and enjoy total peace and seclusion when the tide comes in. The stunning kitchen and patio both look out onto the water for a peaceful and relaxing setting. Oh and there is also a pathway to the rear of the house which very conveniently brings you out right by the pub and seafood cafe!
Vehicle access to the house is under the pontoon and along the beach. There is parking for two cars, however, if you need 24 hour access to your car then there is also a public (paid) car park located in the village and the house can also be reached via a footpath located opposite the pub.
However, once you get to Beach End you may decide you don’t want to leave at all, simply uncork a bottle of wine or a beer and relax either at the front of the cottage or the large patio and BBQ area to the side of the new extension and enjoy the waterside view. Children will enjoy crabbing by the pontoon or just paddling along with the dog. There is a handy wet room / boot area at the entrance to wash away the sand afterwards.

The kitchen / dining room is located in the new extension and has floor to ceiling windows to take full advantage of the views as well as large bifold doors to the patio so you can bring some of the outdoors in. While away evenings around the large kitchen table or outside patio area whilst the young ones are tucked up in bed in the attic room which has twin beds and bunk beds and plenty of games to keep them amused.
There is a ground floor bedroom with twin beds and en-suite shower room and doorway leading to a terrace with table and chairs for two.

The family bathroom has a claw foot, slipper bath, wash hand basin and w.c.

Please note the grounds are not enclosed, children and pets will require supervision. Car access is available at low tide only, by driving under the pontoon. Please note the driveway is quite narrow. We have road tested a Range Rover Evoque which fits under the pontoon and up the driveway, we can’t guarantee access for anything wider or higher than this. There is a footpath opposite the pub which leads to the rear of the house, it is steep in places and has steps along the way so it is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties and children should be supervised at all times. Please wear sensible shoes when using the pathway and if using at night time please take torches with you. We strongly recommend you endeavour to arrive at low tide so you can park in front of the house and unload food and luggage easily to avoid having to carry it down from the car park and along the footpath.
