Brown Goose Catering are a family owned and run company, based in Dorchester, Dorset. All of their functions and menus are overseen by their head chef, Rob Scott, therefore ensuring that consistency is key to all of the events.
After 4 years at the University of Nottingham, Rob found himself wondering what career path to follow. A year spent travelling in New Zealand resulted in his getting a job in a kitchen.
Rob then spent the following 16 years honing his craft in some of the UK’s finest Country House hotels, as well as establishments in Australia, Bermuda and the U.S.A. He has also spent time as a Personal Chef to a family of 6.
Rob’s desire to ‘cook food his way’ saw him set up Brown Goose Catering in early 2016. His roots are based in European Cuisine but with Pacific, Asian and American influences.
He has slowly established himself as one of the best Private Chefs in Dorset.
Traditional Hen Parties are changing. Brown Goose are offering a series of less expensive menus for Hen Parties of 12 or more guests. The difference to their normal dinner parties is that there is a limited menu and they only offer minimal accompaniments. However, you will still get the full Brown Goose dining experience including chef, waiting staff, full table service as well as complete clean down afterwards
3 Course Dinners – If you are looking for a 3 course meal then Brown Goose offer a selection of dishes from which you can compose a menu. Prices for a 3 course meal start at £39/head (price dependent on location and number of guests) and include a Private chef, waiting staff, full table set up (including the crockery and cutlery if required), full table service as well as complete clean down afterwards. Additional extras such as Canapés, Petit fours and additional courses are available upon request.
